Assistant Teacher (Sat / Sun morning)

Job description

Kuno Method is an experiential and interactive brain training enrichment for children aged 2 to 8 years old.

Your responsibilities will include:

• assist enrichment classes and enrich children’s learning by carrying out the Kuno Method lesson plan using an experiential and inquiry-based method, and further enhancing the quality of teacher-child interaction;
• support the teacher in providing greater instructional attention for children who require additional support;
• assist in routine care including but not limited to bringing the children to the toilet and performing temperature checks; and
• assist in the preparation, cleaning and disinfection of teaching aids and the learning environment

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum O'levels
• Polytechnic students or under-graduates from a recognised university in any discipline are welcome to apply
• Positive attitude, calm and willing to learn, as coaching will be provided
• Likes to work with children
• Candidates with a Diploma/Degree in early childhood education and candidates with relevant teaching experience will be an added bonus

Working hours:
Any one of these shifts

Saturday 8:30 am to 1:15 pm
Sunday 8:30 am to 1:15 pm
Sunday 8:30 am to 12 pm

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
