Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of plant instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Support safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations through maintenance and engineering improvements.
  • Review and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Participate in shutdown and turnaround planning and execution activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues and recommend reliability improvements.
  • Support spare parts optimization and maintenance planning initiatives.
  • Lead or support small capital improvement and plant modification projects.
  • Analyze maintenance data and identify opportunities for operational and reliability improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Mentor technicians and support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance team.
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures, diagnose electrical/instrument faults, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Develop electrical single-line diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, control logic diagrams, loop diagrams, P&IDs, and instrument data sheets.
  • Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
  • Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in instrumentation and electrical maintenance within process plant or industrial environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for plant electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, reliability practices, and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of engineering standards, industrial safety requirements, and maintenance systems such as SAP or equivalent CMMS.
  • Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
