Job Summary
You will manage daily store operations, lead part-time staff, and deliver excellent customer service to ensure a seamless retail experience for a fashion footwear brand.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations to maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail environment
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge to assist customers and support sales efforts
- Train and guide part-time staff to confidently sell products and deliver excellent customer service from their first day
- Resolve customer queries and feedback effectively, including handling complex sales conversations
- Collaborate with management on stock management, store operations, and other store needs
- Take ownership of the store’s performance and lead by example to motivate team members
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle sectors
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without close supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage customers warmly and confidently
- Reliable and consistent work ethic that inspires trust and followership among colleagues
- Pride in maintaining a high-quality store environment and customer experience
