Audio-Visual (AV) Multimedia Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Support & Event Setup

  • Provide end-to-end technical support and setup for AV and multimedia equipment during lessons, co-curricular activities (CCAs), examinations, meetings, and major school events.

  • Manage live streaming, video conferencing, and on-site photography/videography using professional tools such as DSLR cameras.

  • Deliver in-class support for ICT-integrated lessons and execute multimedia content creation, including professional video editing and post-production.

2. Technical Advice & Staff Training

  • Advise school leadership on the procurement of modern AV/multimedia hardware and software to satisfy teaching and administrative requirements.

  • Conduct structured training sessions for school staff on how to effectively use AV and multimedia tools.

  • Guide and support faculty members working on media-related projects or school event coverage.

3. Equipment & Inventory Management

  • Oversee routine maintenance, servicing, and technical repairs of all school-owned AV and multimedia systems.

  • Maintain meticulous records of asset usage, servicing history, equipment loans, and regular asset audits.

  • Collaborate closely with the HOD (ICT) and ICT Associate regarding procurement tracking and budgeting for equipment replacements.

4. Project Management & Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with the core ICT team and other departments to ensure seamless cross-functional multimedia support.

  • Lead project management for school-commissioned projects involving AV facilities, including vendor coordination and stakeholder management.

5. Additional Duties

  • Support ad-hoc digital tasks, including updating the school website, designing digital graphics, and troubleshooting specialized hardware like the Public Address (PA) system.

  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by school leadership or department heads.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement: A registered Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Multimedia Design, or a closely related discipline.

Experience

  • AV & Multimedia: At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing complex AV systems and producing multimedia content for events, functions, and standalone projects.

  • Asset Management: At least 2 years of experience in asset inventory management, including servicing, maintaining, and planning the replacement of AV equipment.
