LIFTING ENGINEER

Develop Lifting Plans: Establish critical rigging math, calculations, and lifting sequences for complex or tandem lifts.

Assess Environmental Conditions: Evaluate ground bearing capacity, wind speed limits, and nearby overhead power lines.

Select Machinery: Choose the correct crane models, boom configurations, and certified lifting gears (slings, shackles, spreader beams) based on load attributes.

Coordinate the Team: Instruct and define clear boundaries for the Lifting Supervisor, Signalman, and Crane Operator.

Enforce Safety Boundaries: Oversee the implementation of physical exclusion zones to prevent personnel from walking under suspended loads.
