IT Support Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line user liaison and helpdesk support during office hours and after office hours if needed. Keeping user informed on request status and progress
- Provide support to VoIP, network infrastructure on both Client’s Premises and Data Centre.
- Troubleshooting Linux, Windows, network, and relevant infra stack.
- Liaise with vendors and other functional teams for problem resolution.
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies when required.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Technical Skills-
- Higher NITEC Certificate or Diploma in IT/Computer/Network or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of packet capture tools like tcpdump & Wireshark for troubleshooting server network issues.
- Knowledge of basic VoIP Technologies such as SIP, WebRTC, RTP will be an advantage.
- Basic networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, NAT)
- Knowledge of cloud Technologies / AWS will be an advantage
- Ability to self-learn, acquire new skills, and support new systems and applications
