WELDER AND FLAME CUTTER

METAL MASTER & ALUMINIUM PTE. LTD.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

- Operate welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core)

- Set up and assemble components prior to welding

- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

- Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness

- Repair broken or cracked parts using welding techniques

- Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify dimensions

- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE

- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness

- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines


Requirements:

Education & Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

- Certification from a welding school or technical program preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Welder)

- 1–3 years of welding experience (entry-level roles may accept less)

Skills & Abilities:

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding processes

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

- Strong understanding of metallurgy and welding symbols

- Knowledge of welding safety standards (OSHA, ANSI)

- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

- Ability to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces)
