The Role
We're after a creative all-rounder who can think in stories and execute in content. This role sits at the centre of how WriteHaus Asia and OpenHaus show up in the world, across social media, brand campaigns, and marketing collateral. You'll work closely with our editorial and production team to turn ideas into content that actually connects, not content that just fills a calendar.
What You'll Do
- Plan, write, and produce content across social media, marketing materials, and brand campaigns for WriteHaus Asia and OpenHaus.
- Support content strategy for OpenHaus episodes, including reels, captions, and platform-specific repurposing.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to maintain a consistent, distinctive brand voice across all channels.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, launches, and partnership activations.
- Monitor platform trends and performance data to refine content strategy and improve engagement.
- Contribute fresh creative ideas in brainstorms and pitch meetings, and take ownership of seeing them through.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine love for storytelling, content, and culture, not just familiarity with social media trends.
- Strong writing instincts and an eye for what makes content feel authentic rather than performative.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset, with the maturity to take direct feedback and sharpen your work.
- Basic familiarity with design or editing tools is a plus, though not mandatory.
Qualifications
- Minimum a Diploma from a recognised institution. Degree holders from recognised institutions are welcome to apply.
- Background in marketing, communications, media, or a related creative field is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator) is required. You should be comfortable editing videos and reels and creating content.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to switch tone and format across platforms.
- A strong portfolio or examples of past content work will stand out, even if it's personal or student work.
