Position: Group Finance Manager

The Group Finance Manager will report directly to the President and play a pivotal role in strategic financial planning, accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving initiatives to enhance cost efficiency and operational performance.

- Lead and manage the finance team in daily operations, including accounts payable & receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

- Develop and monitor annual budgets in alignment with the institution's strategic goals.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to management.

- Conduct financial analysis to support the planning of future academic programs and initiatives.

- Implement and monitor financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

- Collaborate with heads of departments to forecast and optimise resources.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and reporting standards.

- Manage cash flow and optimise financial operations to support the institution's growth.

- Review monthly payroll and perform bank submissions for staff and adjunct lecturers.

- Oversee and manage all tax-related matters, including GST reporting and filing, corporate tax compliance, and liaison with external tax advisors and regulatory authorities.

- Ensure timely submission of all statutory filings and regulatory requirements, including annual returns, surveys, and other compliance obligations with relevant government agencies.

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and recommendations.

- Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, and implement necessary updates to ensure ongoing compliance.

- Perform any other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).

- Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably within an international private education setting.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's financial regulations and accounting standards.

- Strong business acumen, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

- Proficiency in Xero/Quickbook online is an advantage.
