We are currently looking for Area Manager, Singapore, to be responsible for driving retail performance and brand excellence across multiple store locations, ensuring strong sales growth, operational efficiency, and an exceptional customer experience aligned with Swarovski’s luxury standards.

The role involves leading and coaching store teams, executing commercial strategies, managing KPIs, and maintaining high visual merchandising and service quality. Additionally, the manager collaborates with regional stakeholders, monitors market trends, and identifies opportunities to enhance productivity, talent development, and overall business performance in a highly evolving retail environment.

About the job

  • Responsible for the commercial and retail KPIs achievements of the Singapore market across all channels (owned retail, department stores, distributors, travel retail) by overseeing the achievement of the weekly/monthly/yearly budgets and targets as well as controlling operational expenses.
  • Develop and execute country sales strategies and define action plans to achieve the overall results.
  • Responsible for the overall sales budget and division P&L . Take ownership of sales performance to drive profitability in diverse situations and market conditions.
  • Set corresponding targets (sales, retail headcount and costs) for all channels based on given commercial plan.
  • Review, analyse the overall results and suggest improvement actions as well as making sure measurements are executed accordingly.
  • Regular discussions on the overall performance with Head of Sales to propose and align on follow-up actions.
  • Oversee and ensure excellent and consistent service standards of Swarovski and retail execution based on global frameworks.
  • Build and foster strong positive relationships with store managers, own and partner retail teams through regular store visits, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate with other business functions in all aspects related to retail sales, from Merchandising and Planning, Marketing, Distribution Development, Finance, Training, Human Resources, etc.
  • Lead, motivate and coach the Retail team to achieve desired commercial and development results.
  • Provide feedback to cross-functional teams based on customer and retail teams’ needs, as well as proposing improvement ideas.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned expert who brings along the following:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business and/or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the retail and consumer industry – focused on retail operations, service excellence and brand management
  • Experience in leading diverse teams
  • Good understanding in Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Demand Planning, P&L management and HR processes
  • Strong business accumen, positive service mindset and good relationship skills
  • Advanced numeracy, literacy and strong communication skills
  • Sound understanding of local sales operating model and market practices/ nuances
  • Proficient in English and 1 additional local language
  • Analytical and detailed oriented
