What you’ll do
Lead the engineering design and development of PTU systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and technical requirements, and coordinate with the Project Manager (PM) on cost control with factories and third-party vendors
Provide engineering support and assistance to the PM during project execution, including design reviews, problem resolution, technical evaluations, and coordination with stakeholders on technical matters
Possess a strong understanding of PTU engineering design requirements, performing equipment and system sizing, selection, and technical assessments in accordance with applicable codes, standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices
Develop PTU system drawings, Sequence of Operation (SOO) / Design Description of Operation (DOO), and associated commissioning/test scripts for commissioning (Cx) activities, while coordinating with factories, third-party vendors, contractors, and customers to ensure successful commissioning and contractual compliance
Manage multiple engineering projects in line with business requirements
Develop and maintain engineering design documentation, including but not limited to PTU general arrangement drawings, system single-line diagrams (SLD), calculations, sizing, simulations, and test scripts
Support the PM and participate in technical review discussions (via Teams or face-to-face, as required) with customers based on project needs
Work closely with the PM on cost control through effective engineering optimization without compromising quality
Support the PM in change requests by developing technically feasible and cost-effective engineering solutions
Manage technical documentation, including maintaining up-to-date vendor documents, tracking submissions, and ensuring timely delivery
Review sub-vendor design and technical deliverables, ensuring quality, addressing technical queries, and supporting the PM in evaluation, comments, and approvals
Assist, coordinate, and support the Project Manager and Service team in deployment planning, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and SAT (Site Acceptance Test)
Be committed and responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance:
a. Implement process-driven and risk-based approaches
b. Provide necessary support to fully implement and sustain QMS/EHS
c. Communicate the importance of compliance with QMS/EHS requirements across the organization
d. Ensure QMS/EHS objectives and goals are met
e. Engage, direct, and support individuals contributing to QMS/EHS
f. Foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
Degree / Diploma or equivalent in Engineering discipline - Mechanical or Electrical Engineeing
At least 2 years of project management experience
Auto-CAD skill, office software,etc
Good communication skill in English and Mandarin. Knowing other language is a nice to have skill
