System Analyst (Contract)

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting core banking platforms such as Finacle or Flexcube, T24 or Silverlake, along with strong technical skills in Oracle, SQL, Unix, and shell scripting. The role involves application monitoring, batch monitoring, incident resolution, and coordination with internal and external teams to ensure stable application performance and timely issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for banking applications and related interfaces.
• Monitor application health, system alerts, and business-critical jobs.
• Perform batch monitoring and ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
• Work on incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Analyze logs, traces, and error messages to identify root causes.
• Support and maintain banking application environments including Finacle or Flexcube.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reconciliation.
• Work with Oracle databases for support activities and troubleshooting.
• Use Unix commands and shell scripting for automation and operational support.
• Monitor and manage job schedules using Control-M or Autosys.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams for issue resolution.
• Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
• Support release activities, patch deployments, and post-deployment validation.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in application support, preferably in banking.
• Strong experience in supporting Finacle or Flexcube.
• Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL, Unix, and shell scripting.
• Experience in application monitoring and batch monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M or Autosys.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in production support environment and handle critical incidents.
