CONSTRUCTION GENERAL FOREMAN

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out according to schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Manage and monitor site operations, workers, and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.
• Lead and supervise site workers to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely completion of works.
• Evaluate and resolve site issues and technical matters arising during construction.
• Liaise and coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor site progress and ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance of subcontractors and workers.
• Ensure proper site housekeeping and compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Responsible for manpower allocation and coordination of site activities.
• Hands-on in site work and provide practical coaching and training to new workers, particularly in formwork and rebar works.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in building construction and RC works is preferred.
• Good knowledge of formwork, rebar, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and coordination skills.
• Familiar with Singapore construction practices and WSH requirements.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
