Internship Program Overview
Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Summary of Role
The Engineering Intern will support CVD Equipment Engineering in project coordination, parts management, task tracking, and continuous improvement activities. The role provides hands-on exposure to semiconductor equipment support, cross-functional follow-up, data accuracy checks, and structured project reporting.
Essential Responsibilities include
Coordinate Project Phoenix parts creation activities and maintain p rogress updates using SharePoint and related tracking tools .
Monitor daily task updates, verify data accuracy, and highlight missing or inconsistent information for correction.
Support tracker improvement by proposing practical template refinements, automation ideas, and standard update practices.
Track CIP project action items, follow up with stakeholders, and escalate overdue or blocked tasks to support timely closure.
Other Responsibilities
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs .
Required Qualifications
Education – Actively pursuing a diploma in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electronics or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship .
Must be in good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior related internship or co-op experience
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
