About the Role

Join a dynamic Operations team to support the development and implementation of an AI-powered Decision Engine that standardises business decisions, improves consistency, and enables scalable automation. This role combines business analysis with technical expertise to ensure decision logic remains rule-based, transparent, and auditable, while leveraging AI to enhance usability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance deterministic business rules and decision logic.
• Translate business requirements and operational knowledge into structured rule sets.
• Manage version control and maintain clear documentation and traceability of decision rules.
• Review, refine, and support Python-based AI and automation components.
• Validate AI-generated outputs against established business rules and decision frameworks.
• Implement governance, audit trail, and compliance controls for decision processes.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and business sign-off activities.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Underwriting, Technology, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, particularly for AI/ML and data processing applications.
• Experience in AI/Machine Learning, preferably in natural language processing (NLP), decision systems, or intelligent automation.
• Familiarity with rule engines, decision modelling, or business rules management.
• Good understanding of AI governance, explainability, and auditability principles.
• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
