About the role

The job holder is to handle all sales support and customer service activities of assigned accounts. This is a fast pace working environment and staffs is expected to be able to follow up on urgent matters after office hours and also able to digests whole departmental email.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend to inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery surcharges, and lead time
  • Work with Sales to understand and execute pricing and supply and payment for each account
  • Manage the order-to-delivery process to ensure smooth delivery, including coordination with customers, Sales, the global supply team, as well as delivery agents
  • Fulfill delivery requirements for orders, coping with changes in delivery requirements and provide professional advice in relation to local geographical conditions and supply limitations
  • Order follow-up activities, including submission of delivery notes for invoicing, chase and monitor outstanding payment
  • Maintain continuous and positive rapport with customers, monitor account performance and any changes in assigned accounts

Requirements

About you

  • Excellent interaction capabilities and a proactive communicator
  • Diploma level and above
  • Proactive and takes initiative to solve issues and deliver results
  • Good customer service
  • Willing to work in the maritime industry, supply chain or shipping with a sense of urgency, Good time management
  • Experience in the marine industry is an advantage, but not mandatory
  • Strong in Excel and other MS office applications
  • Self-motivated, confident, able to work independently, and effective in communication
