Warehouse Assistant (7 month contract) - Your future position?

Reporting to Assistant Warehouse Manager

Location 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Outbound Operations

• Support daily loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify received goods against delivery documents and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Perform sorting, pallet transfer, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling activities.
• Prepare and load finished goods for local deliveries and export shipments.
• Support container stuffing and cargo securing activities.
• Perform sample drawing, repacking, weighing, and sample submission in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in finished goods receiving, palletizing, carton packing, storage, and transfer activities.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as stackers, forklifts, VNA trucks (training provided where applicable).

Inventory Management & Warehouse Operations

• Perform put-away of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods into designated storage locations.
• Support material handling activities in ambient, refrigerated, and cold room storage areas.
• Pick, repack, and prepare materials for export, intersite transfers, production support, and quality control requirements.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory verification activities.
• Assist in warehouse space optimization and material relocation activities.
• Support Kanban replenishment activities for production packaging materials (e.g., pallets, cartons, drums, PE bags).
• Maintain accurate inventory handling practices in accordance with warehouse procedures.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Comply with GMP, food safety, workplace safety, and warehouse operating procedures.
• Perform daily allergen storage checks and warehouse housekeeping activities.
• Maintain good 5S standards and ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Report any safety concerns, operational issues, or non-conformances to supervisors promptly.

Main Requirements

• Possess a valid Singaporean forklift license
• Able to perform physical warehouse work, including lifting, carrying, pallet handling, and prolonged standing/walking.
• Comfortable working in ambient and cold room environments.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
• Prior warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or FMCG experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Working Environment

• Warehouse and logistics operations environment.
• Hands-on role involving material handling, inventory management, and shipping/receiving activities.
• Training will be provided for site-specific processes and compliance requirements.
