Engineer – AutoCAD / $3.5K - $4.5K + Transport Provided + VB / Location: West (Oil & Gas / Fabrication Industry)

Role Summary

· Coordinate engineering projects from brief to delivery, prepare technical drawings

· Liaise closely with clients and vendors to ensure quality and compliance at every stage

Key Duties

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Follow specifications and calculations to produce accurate technical drawings (rough sketches and detailed CADD drawings)
• Perform material and weight limitation calculations
• Prepare, review and draft technical documents alongside the engineering team
• Identify and communicate potential design problems to the team proactively
• Undertake other duties as assigned by your Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (preferred); Diploma considered
• Minimum 2 years in the Oil & Gas or Fabrication Industry (preferred)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 QA system
• Resourceful, independent, detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile for customers
