Interior Fit-out Site Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily site activities for interior fit-out projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor site progress to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site issues.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Monitor workmanship and maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential risks or construction issues.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and documentation.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower to support project schedules.
  • Review subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed according to contractual requirements.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical and site coordination issues promptly to minimize project delays.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Support project handover, defect rectification, and final completion activities.
  • Maintain proper site records, including inspection reports, permits, and quality documentation.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of site management experience in interior fit-out or renovation projects.
  • Proven experience managing commercial office, retail, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use interior projects.
  • Strong understanding of interior construction methods, finishes, joinery, M&E coordination, and fit-out processes.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Good knowledge of project scheduling, site coordination, and quality management.
  • Familiarity with local building regulations, safety requirements, and construction standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate across different trades.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and project management software is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations when required.
