Senior Sharepoint Application Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SharePoint migration projects, particularly migrating enterprise SharePoint environments from On-Premises to Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute SharePoint migration projects from On-Premises (SharePoint 2013/2016/2019/Subscription Edition) to SharePoint Online / Cloud environments.
• Assess existing SharePoint environments, develop and perform migration activities, and validate successful migration of sites, libraries, permissions, workflows, and content.
• Administer, configure, and support SharePoint Online and on-premises SharePoint environments, ensuring platform performance, security, and availability.
• Develop and maintain ASP.NET / .NET applications, REST API integrations, and custom SharePoint solutions to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to support cloud modernization initiatives, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with security and governance requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, migration plans, operational procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering SharePoint migration projects from On-Premises to SharePoint Online / Cloud.
• Strong hands-on experience administering and supporting SharePoint Platforms.
• Experience using SharePoint migration tools such as ShareGate, Microsoft Migration Manager, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in ASP.NET / .NET application development, REST API integration, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), authentication, and identity/access management.
• Experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing root cause analysis.
• Experience migrating applications to Government Cloud (GCC/GCC 2.0) environments would be greatly advantageous
• Knowledge of IM8, government security, compliance, and governance requirements would be advantageous
