Finance & HR Manager

Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Prepare management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports.
- Oversee project costing, progress claims, collections, retention sums, and subcontractor payments.
- Drive collections, credit control, and payment recovery to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, GST, CPF, and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, lawyers, and clients.
HR & Administration
- Oversee payroll, recruitment, HR administration, and statutory compliance.
- Manage office administration, insurance, licences, contracts, and company assets.
- Maintain effective policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Leadership
- Lead and supervise the Accounts Assistant and HR & Admin Executive.
- Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and business planning.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in full set of accounts, cash flow management, and credit control.
- Familiarity with project costing, progress claims, retention sums, and subcontractor payments.
- Knowledge of payroll, CPF, GST, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Independent, hands-on, commercially minded, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
