SALES EXECUTIVE IN CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND LOGISTICS INDUSTRY

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the construction, logistics, transport, engineering, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximize sales growth and customer retention.
  • Promote and market the Company's products and services, including construction equipment, heavy machinery, tyre services, hydraulic hose services, repair and maintenance, transportation, and logistics solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, proposals, and negotiate pricing and contractual terms with clients.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, site inspections, and business presentations to understand clients' operational requirements.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned by Management.
  • Coordinate closely with the operations, workshop, logistics, and accounts departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and timely service delivery.
  • Follow up on quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, project progress, and after-sales support.
  • Resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and industry developments, providing regular feedback to Management.
  • Prepare and submit weekly sales reports, customer visit reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Attend trade exhibitions, networking events, client meetings, and industry functions to generate new business opportunities.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and coordinate with the Accounts Department on overdue accounts when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales documentation, and CRM database.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, workplace safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Perform any other sales, marketing, or business development duties assigned by the Company from time to time.
