Senior Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description

• To execute projects well from its planning to completion
• Candidates for senior roles are to guide a team of junior engineers in the design, execution and completion of projects
• Planning, design of mechanical & electrical services in buildings and infrastructural developments (substation, power, lighting, security system, data cabling, public address system, air-conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, gas, vertical transportation, etc)
• To liaise with Singapore authorities, clients, consultants, contractors
• Project Management from pre-development through to completion.
• Cost planning, life-cycle costing, evaluation of payment and variation orders for clients and quantities surveyors
• Attend and lead project meetings, site meeting, inspections, etc

Requirements

• A recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 6-8 years’ hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm.
• Experience in handling full cycle of building service projects and proven track record with strong background in Electrical design.
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and Authority submission process
• Confident and have strong presentation & communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Strong design skill in Revit/BIM & AutoCad is an added advantage
