Senior Executive (Learning & Development and Employee Engagement)

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR professional to support the full spectrum of including employee engagement, policy development, compliance, learning and development.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about building strong people practices that support organisational goals.

a. Learning & Development

  • Identify and implement training and development programs that address employees' learning needs.
  • Conduct Learning Need Analysis by working closely with departments to identify learning needs, formulate and deploy learning plans.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal training programmes, including scheduling, venue booking, trainer engagement, and participant registration.
  • Source and evaluate external training providers to ensure quality, relevance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate staff training administration and maintain training records. Generate regular reports on training hours, participation trends, and learning expenditure.
  • Track certification validity and support recertification arrangements.
  • Support Training funding application (CCTG/CCMDA/CCF etc).
  • Support post-training evaluation processes, including participant feedback surveys and trainer assessments.
  • Support preparation and monitoring of training budgets.
  • Partner with institutes of higher learning to support the demand of Business Units by hiring interns.

b. Employee Engagement

  • Work closely with Heads of Department (HODs) to identify, evaluate, and nominate deserving employees for internal and external awards, recognition programmes, and long-service awards.
  • Coordinate and administer employee engagement surveys, including survey planning, communication, data collection, and reporting.
  • Support employee engagement, and team building activities that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation activities to enhance staff engagement and recognition.

c. Other administrative functions

  • Assist HR audits (internal and external) to ensure proper compliance and recordkeeping.
  • Assist in budget preparation and manpower cost analysis.
  • Support implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
  • Assist in HR transformation and digitalisation projects.
  • Prepare monthly birthday wishes & administer birthday voucher issuance.
  • Perform any other HR-related duties assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Human Resource or its equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience
  • Prior experience in Learning & Development is preferred
  • HR experience in eldercare or healthcare sector would be an added advantage
  • Team player with good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
