Sales Executive (Account Manager)

Roles & Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold-calling activities.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and sales meetings with clients.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, tenders, and sales-related documentation.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and project handover.
  • Coordinate closely with project, R&D, and support teams to ensure successful implementation of sold solutions.
  • Ensure all post-sales activities, documentation, and customer requirements are completed prior to handover to the respective teams.

Account Management & Customer Relationship

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and post-sales support coordination.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer, prospect, and sales opportunity records.

Sales Administration & Tender Management

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.
  • Compile, organise, and maintain tender-related documents and information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather required documents and supporting materials.
  • Ensure tender submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Perform administrative and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Product Demonstration & Solution Support

  • Prepare and arrange demonstration hardware and software for customer presentations and proof-of-concept sessions.
  • Develop a good understanding of the Company's solutions, including POS systems, self-ordering kiosks, self-checkout solutions, payment systems, retail management software, and related technologies.
  • Work closely with internal teams to recommend suitable solutions based on customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum diploma in Business, Sales, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management or related roles for at least 2 years is preferred
  • Prior experience in retail technology solutions such as POS systems, retail technology, payment solutions or related software/hardware solutions will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team and manage post-sales enquiry
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Outspoken and confidence in speaking to clients via remotely or physically
