Draftsman

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare topographical maps used in all civil engineering projects;
• Survey data processing and Traverse Calculation;
• Prepare survey setting out plan, longitudinal section, cross section and TBM level calculation with sketch;
• Prepare AutoCAD drafting of architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical and survey plan as well as as-build drawings;
• Draft Civil and Infrastructure project efficiently using AutoCAD Software to meet local and international design standards;
• Engineering plan detailing, sectional details, typical detailing, detailed shop drawing for all kind of engineering projects;
• Co-ordinate and execute the list of jobs to be detailed in accordance with the Superior instructions;
• Ensure that detailing meets the local criteria / regulations and COP standard detailing;
• Check designs and details before submitting to client or authorities;
• Ensure that internal procedures are maintained and produce reports as required;
• Contribute to improve designs and detailing;
• Create, maintain and update drawings to ensure timely construction and should have the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings;
• BIM Modeling for specific design discipline including structure, interior and exterior architectural elements, underground utilities and MEP systems.
• Manage and facilitate laser scanning of existing spaces. Incorporate data into coordination process.
• Create Utility model based on points of connection for existing and new utilities within site boundary.
• Create 3D surface based on topography that shows site conditions and building locations, include existing walkways, roads, curbs, ramps and parking lots etc.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings of architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, survey plan and as-build plan.
• Require visits to a job site in order to collaborate with engineers and surveyor;
• Under the WSH Act, employees have a duty to keep their workplace and colleagues safe:

3. Do not tamper with safety devices or perform wilful or reckless acts; and

• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Those with BIM knowledge will have an added advantage.
• Autocad & Civil 3D Knowledge.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the construction industry.
