About the Role

We are seeking a Director, Finance to lead the finance function as Ophir Gold Technology scales. You will be the financial steward of the business — responsible for planning, controllership, treasury, and the systems and discipline that allow a fast-growing precious metals company to operate with confidence. This role is for a commercial finance leader who can balance rigour with speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Own financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Lead controllership, statutory reporting, audit, and tax in compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships, including trade and inventory financing.
• Partner with Metal Operations on commodity exposure, hedging strategy, and inventory accounting for precious metals.
• Build and scale finance systems, controls, and processes appropriate for a fast-growing business.
• Provide commercial decision support to the CEO and leadership team on pricing, margins, and capital allocation.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

What You Bring

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience, with a Big 4 or top-tier audit foundation preferred.
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Prior leadership experience in commodities, precious metals, trading, retail, or regulated financial services strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Experience with treasury, hedging, and inventory financing is a strong plus.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate numbers into clear business decisions.
