Sales Executive/ Business Development (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, convenience stores, and other corporate customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Promote and sell the company's FMCG product portfolio to existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand market needs and recommend suitable product offerings.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and promotional plans.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Manage customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.
- Negotiate pricing, trade promotions, commercial terms, and sales agreements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and customer orders while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment, delivery, and customer support.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and provide excellent after-sales service.
Market Expansion
- Collaborate with management to identify new sales channels and business expansion opportunities.
- Develop new distribution networks and strengthen existing retail partnerships.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, networking events, and industry activities to promote the company's products and brand.
Reporting & Performance
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account performance.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs while contributing to the company's overall growth and profitability.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Experience managing retail, wholesale, or distribution channels is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
