The Engagement
We are reimagining the future of Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) — how it looks, how it works, and how it feels to customers and frontline officers alike. You'll embed with the Customer eXperience Department (CXD) as the connective tissue between research, design, stakeholders, and leadership — ensuring discovery work translates into clear, validated product outcomes.
What You'll Deliver
- Define and champion the product vision for the future EPSC across the 10-week engagement
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap that sequences the right problems in the right order
- Translate user and stakeholder needs into clear problem statements, requirements, and prioritisation decisions
- Serve as the bridge between the project workgroup and broader MOM stakeholders, including other teams and senior management
- Co-create and validate solutions with stakeholders, ensuring feasibility alongside user value
- Communicate final recommendations — spanning spatial, operational, and customer experience dimensions — clearly to relevant audiences
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in product management, preferably in a user-centred or service design context
- Track record of shipping user-centred products and navigating stakeholder complexity
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous research insights into structured, actionable product decisions
- Comfortable working in agile environments and managing competing priorities
- Confident communicator able to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels, including management
- Government or public sector experience advantageous
Capability Building (Advantageous)
We aim to grow its officers' service design capabilities through this project. Candidates with experience in the following will be viewed favourably:
- Training — upskilling public sector officers in product and service design methods
- Mentoring — hands-on coaching through workshop design and facilitation
- Documentation — producing reusable frameworks, templates, and best practice guides (including spatial design)
- Skills transfer — building officer capability in service design principles, journey mapping, and stakeholder engagement alongside project delivery
