AI Product Designer

MORPHEUS LABS PTE. LTD.

AI Product Designer (Mid-level)

We're looking for a mid-level Product Designer with a passion for AI-native experiences to join our team. You'll be the design voice for how users interact with our AI automation features — shaping interfaces that make complex model behavior feel intuitive, trustworthy, and powerful.

What you'll do

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for AI-powered features, from workflow automation interfaces to model output displays and human-in-the-loop review flows
  • Translate ambiguous AI capabilities into clear, usable interaction patterns — including prompting interfaces, result surfacing, and error/confidence states
  • Collaborate closely with ML engineers and product managers to understand model behavior and design around its constraints and strengths
  • Build and maintain a design system for AI interaction components (loading states, streaming outputs, feedback loops, trust indicators)
  • Run lightweight user research and usability testing to validate that AI features land the way intended
  • Contribute to internal guidelines on responsible AI design — clarity, explainability, and avoiding dark patterns

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of product design experience, with at least one shipped product involving AI or ML features
  • Strong interaction design skills — you think in flows and states, not just screens
  • Comfort working in ambiguity; AI features rarely have a fixed spec and you're okay with that
  • Proficiency in Figma; experience with prototyping tools for complex interactions is a plus
  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Genuine curiosity about how AI models work — you don't need to write code, but you should want to understand what's happening under the hood

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for SMB or B2B SaaS products
  • Strong business logic
  • Familiarity with conversational UI, chat interfaces, or agentic workflow design
  • Exposure to prompt design or LLM evaluation workflows
