The Opportunity
ANKH Executive is supporting the appointment of two Senior Sales Executives for the APAC region on behalf of a globally established, Swiss-headquartered banking technology provider.
The organisation provides a front-to-back banking software platform used by private banks, wealth managers and financial institutions. This is a Singapore-based senior individual contributor role focused on private banking and wealth management software solutions across Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and assigned Asia markets.

Private banking and wealth management institutions across Asia continue to invest in platform renewal, operational efficiency, digital client experience and front-to-back integration.
The successful candidates must be credible in complex enterprise sales environments, able to build qualified pipeline, manage existing accounts, create new-logo opportunities, own RFI/RFP processes and close multi-stakeholder software contracts.
The Mandate
The selected Senior Sales Executives will take ownership of assigned APAC markets, with priority focus on Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing territory and strategic sales plans for private banking and wealth management software solutions
- Identifying, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities with private banks, wealth managers and regulated financial institutions
- Managing existing accounts, inherited pipeline and upsell opportunities while generating additional prospects
- Building executive-level relationships and senior banking networks across Asia
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and signature
- Owning and coordinating RFI/RFP responses with pre-sales, product and internal stakeholders
- Conducting client presentations, demonstrations and workshops
- Preparing commercial proposals and leading contract negotiations
- Maintaining accurate forecasting, CRM discipline and weekly sales reporting
- Tracking competitor positioning, regulatory developments and emerging market opportunities
- Representing the organisation at banking, private banking, wealth management and fintech industry events
The Profile Sought
We are looking for senior, commercially driven sales professionals with:
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience, preferably within private banking technology, wealth management technology, banking software, fintech or financial services
- Proven exposure to enterprise software or platform sales into private banks, wealth managers, universal banks or regulated financial institutions
- Strong knowledge of private banking and wealth management operating environments
- Relevant technology knowledge across private banking, wealth management, core banking, portfolio, advisory, digital banking or front-to-back wealth platforms
- Proven capability across new-logo acquisition, account management, pipeline development and opportunity qualification
- Strong Asian private banking / wealth management network and credibility with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability in complex negotiation and contract closure
- Experience working across multiple APAC markets and cultures, ideally including Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore or Vietnam
- Strong CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy and account planning capability
- Credibility with C-level sponsors, business heads, technology leaders and operations stakeholders
- Background in IT or banking; university degree expected
Candidates from complex banking environments may be considered if they can demonstrate clear commercial ownership, private banking / wealth management understanding, technology knowledge and a strong Asian banking network.
Relevant Technology & Industry Exposure
We are targeting candidates with experience in or around software solution providers selling private banking, wealth management, core banking and related banking platform solutions across APAC, including:
CORE BANKING / PRIVATE BANKING / WEALTH MANAGEMENT PLATFORMS
ERI Bancaire, Temenos, Avaloq, Sopra Banking Software, Finastra, Oracle, TCS BaNCS, Infosys Finacle, FinIQ and other banking software providers serving private banking and wealth management institutions.
WEALTH / PORTFOLIO / DIGITAL PLATFORMS
SimCorp, SS&C Technologies, FNZ, Objectway, InvestCloud, additiv and other financial services platform providers relevant to wealth management, investment services, portfolio management, advisory, digital banking or client servicing.
RELEVANT CLIENT ENVIRONMENTS
Private banks, wealth managers, universal banks, asset servicing organisations, investment services businesses, financial institutions and regulated financial services groups.
PRIORITY APAC MARKET EXPOSURE
Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam are priority markets. Broader APAC experience is valuable where candidates have sold complex banking or wealth management software into financial institutions.
Performance Orientation / KPIs
- Opportunity win rate: target 25% or above
- Average deal value: USD 1 million or above
- Business case documented for 100% of qualified opportunities
- Annual account growth: target 10% or above
- Executive meetings: minimum two per quarter per key account
- Minimum three key stakeholders and one C-level sponsor identified per opportunity
- CRM completeness: target 95% or above; forecast accuracy: target 80% or above
- Participation in banking, private banking, wealth management and fintech industry events as part of market development
Reporting Line
- Direct reporting to the Global Site Director / Sales Director
- Collaboration with international and cross-regional sales initiatives when required
- Pre-sales support expected from the international pre-sales organisation
Compensation
- Compensation to be defined based on experience and fit
- Performance-driven sales commission structure expected
Key Considerations
- This is a senior individual contributor sales role focused on private banking and wealth management software solutions
- This is not delivery, implementation or a junior business development track
- Strong emphasis on new-logo acquisition, existing account development, qualified pipeline creation, upselling and contract closure
- Priority market relevance includes Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam
- Strong Asian private banking / wealth management network is a significant advantage
- Candidates must be Singapore-based or have a clear ability to be based in Singapore
- Reference checks may be required as part of the process
