Expression of Interest- Bioprocess & Automation Engineer

Recruit123 is currently partnering with an established organization to hire a Bioprocess & Automation Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in an upcoming new product launch while managing and expanding a specialized manufacturing and bioprocessing portfolio.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will focus on establishing new automated workflows, educating technical teams on system modifications, and ensuring each processing and instrumentation portfolio receives strategic engineering focus. Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include working with bioreactors, filtration systems, and control logic to introduce process optimizations and drive higher production yields. You will execute tailored automation and validation strategies aligned with strict regulatory and principal guidelines, analyze system data to increase equipment uptime and efficiency, and build strong relationships with quality control teams, bioprocess scientists, and maintenance vendors. Additionally, you will handle data-driven technical detailing, manage your daily schedule to balance multiple system brands or engineering pipelines, support engineering alignment seminars, and gather technical intelligence on competitor methodologies to ensure system performance remains in line with company targets.

What we are looking for

We are seeking candidates with at least 1 year of experience in bioprocess engineering, industrial automation, or a related biopharmaceutical manufacturing role. Because you will manage a variety of hardware systems and software architectures (such as PLC or SCADA systems), strong organizational and time-management skills are essential. You should be highly adaptable, comfortable learning complex clinical and biochemical data sets, and able to switch troubleshooting strategies smoothly throughout the day. Excellent communication and collaborative skills are required, including the ability to handle technical objections or system non-conformances from quality teams using patience and data.
