Airfreight Manager (Alt 5.5days, CargoWise, East)

• Provide leadership and operational support to the Airfreight Import Customer Service team, ensuring efficient end-to-end import processes and high service standards.
• Oversee daily import operations, including shipment documentation, carrier coordination, customs compliance, billing, and timely job closure while ensuring adherence to established procedures.
• Drive process improvements by identifying workflow inefficiencies, enhancing operational performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing coaching, feedback, and escalation support where necessary.
• Manage customer relationships by handling complex inquiries and service escalations while collaborating closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in airfreight import customer service and billing.
• Strong knowledge of import workflows, documentation, and customs regulations.
• Proficient in using CargoWise system.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage team performance effectively.
