IT Support Executive - 6 Months CONTRACT

MTM Ship Management is a Singapore-based maritime ship management company with offices in Singapore, Mumbai, Yangon and Manila, supporting a global fleet of Starlink, OneWeb & VSAT-connected vessels. We are looking for a reliable IT Support Executive to join our IT team and keep daily operations running smoothly across our shore offices and vessels.
This is a hands-on support role focused on day-to-day IT operations, user assistance, device setup, Microsoft 365 support, basic application troubleshooting and coordination of vessel-related IT requests. The role will work closely with, and under the guidance of, the IT lead, with complex technical or development matters escalated to the relevant team.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User& Device Support
• Provide first-level IT support to users for hardware, software, email, connectivity and general IT-related enquiries.
• Setup laptops, desktops, user profiles and standard office applications for new and existing employees.
• Install, configure and support Microsoft Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, antivirus and other commonly used business applications.
• Assist with office IT equipment, meeting room setup, displays, printers and other basic workplace technology support.
IT Asset, Onboarding & Offboarding
• Maintain basic IT asset records and assist with tracking laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing IT equipment, user accounts, access requests and related documentation.
Microsoft365 & Infrastructure
• Assist with routine Microsoft 365 administration, including user account setup, password resets, mailbox support and basic access management.
• Support basic network and infrastructure tasks under the guidance of the IT lead, including coordination with vendors where required.
Application Support (ShipSoft & Beekeeper)
• Provide user support for common ShipSoft issues, including access enquiries, basic data checks and routine user assistance.
• Assist users with Beekeeper-related access, login and basic application support matters.
Vessel& Remote Support
• Coordinate basic IT support requests from vessels and remote users and escalate technical issues where required.
Security Monitoring
• Monitor basic endpoint security alerts and assist with follow-up actions under the direction of the IT lead.
Training, Audits & Events
• Assist with IT setup for internal trainings, audits, presentations and external visitor arrangements in the office.
• Perform other ad hoc IT-related duties as and when required.
Requirements• Singaporean
• ITE, Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 1–3years of hands-on experience in IT support or IT infrastructure support.
• Practicalexperience with laptop and desktop setup, Microsoft 365, basic networking,endpoint security and general application troubleshooting.
• Reliable,responsive and able to handle daily operational support independently withguidance from the IT lead.
• Goodcommunication skills and a strong customer-service mindset.
Good toHave• Experiencesupporting users in a maritime, shipping or other distributed multi-officeenvironment.
• Exposureto ShipSoft or a similar marine ERP / fleet management application.
• Familiaritywith EDR or endpoint security tools and with Beekeeper or similar workforcecommunication platforms.
• Experience supporting remote or vessel users over low-bandwidth connections.
