Job Purpose
Responsible for planning and delivering quality, student-centered instruction for learners with special needs, supporting their academic, social and functional development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver individualized and group instructional programs for students with special needs
Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
Monitor, assess and document students' progress and development
Collaborate with parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals to support students' holistic growth
Diploma/Degree or equivalent
Candidates with recognized Diploma in Special Education, Diploma / Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education is a MUST.
Prior experience with Students with Mid Intellectual Disabilities (MID) is preferred
Prior experience handling Numeracy/ Literacy, Physical Education, WPLN, Science, HSR, SEL/ CCE and Vocational Guidance is an added advantage.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
