The group you’ll be a part of

As a Global Operations Quality Program Manager, you will be part of the Global Operations Quality team and report directly to the GOps Quality Director in Asia region.

The impact you’ll make

The incumbent will work together with our Account Teams to help Lam earn greater Customer Trust by ensuring our customers are heard and their quality concerns are addressed.

What you’ll do

  • Help build collaborative partnerships with the customer account teams
  • Engage with account team to understand the voice of the customer
  • Participate in Quarterly Operations Review. Aligning with GOps Quality and Global Quality on regional metrics.
  • If GOps executives are joining a customer executive review or meeting, make sure they are fully prepared and informed as needed
  • Educate and clarify the GOps Quality messaging
  • Direct customer engagement when necessary
  • Help your manager to resolve key quality issues raised by our customers. This will include collaborating with the Lam account team. Along with your manager, be ready to collaborate with customer executives, Lam executives, the product groups and our supplier engineers
  • Facilitate the identification of customer quality issues, determine their root cause, and implement effective solutions
  • Educate and communicate to the Gops quality team on quality issues and/or trends at Lam’s key customers

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with 15 years relevant experience, or equivalent. A higher academic qualification is desirable.
  • Having experience with customers in the semiconductor industry can be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience applying advanced quality methods to improve quality and reduce variability with a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication and influence
  • The ability to collaborate on cross functional teams.
  • Curious mindset, passion for quality ideas, and the ability to drive innovative changes.
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Adept at creating and delivering effective presentations to on quality topics and/or escalations

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus
  • Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies
  • Expertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
