Position: R&D Chef
Location: Bedok
Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm), Alternate Saturday (9am - 1pm)
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,200 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

Main Responsibilities
Research and develop new menu items, recipes, and food products
Conduct food trials, testing, and product evaluations
Standardize recipes and ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Calculate food costs and optimize recipes to meet budget requirements
Source and evaluate ingredients, suppliers, and food trends
Work closely with Operations, Kitchen, and Management teams on product launches
Ensure all products comply with food safety and hygiene standards
Prepare recipe manuals, SOPs, and training materials
Support seasonal promotions and special menu development
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of culinary, menu development, or kitchen R&D experience
Prior experience in F&B, central kitchen, catering, restaurant, or food manufacturing environment will be an advantage
Basic knowledge of food costing, ingredient sourcing, and food safety standards
