Job Purpose: This role is pivotal for driving workforce transformation and people development initiatives across Regional Consumer Banking Wealth Management Operations. The incumbent is expected to champion learning, leadership, talent and engagement programmes with purpose and professionalism, shaping today’s workforce into a future-ready, AI-enabled organisation while strengthening organisational capability and employee experience. Key Accountabilities:
Workforce Transformation and AI Readiness: Drive workforce transformation by advancing upskilling and reskilling initiatives that enhance employee productivity and foster a future-ready workforce at CBWMO.
Learning and Leadership Development: Lead the successful execution of learning and leadership development programmes that strengthen managerial capability, learning culture and workforce readiness.
Talent and Employee Development: Strengthen the development and engagement of Management Associates, High Potential employees and wider staff through meaningful growth opportunities, exposure and structured support.
Employee Engagement and Organisational Connectivity: Shape and deliver employee engagement and communication initiatives that foster stronger organisational connection, participation and a positive learning culture across locations.
Employee Listening and Continuous Improvement: Lead employee listening and survey follow-through by translating insights into actionable improvement plans that enhance engagement, development and workforce effectiveness. Job Responsibilities:
1. Workforce Transformation and AI-Enabled Capability Building
Partner with Group Operations and HR to shape and deliver workforce transformation initiatives that build AI readiness, digital fluency and human-centred capabilities across CBWMO.
Drive the execution and completion of mandatory learning programmes, including enterprise-wide AI learning programms, through strong governance, follow-up and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor learning progress, track adoption and provide timely management reporting to support workforce readiness and informed decision-making.
2. Leadership Development
Lead and coordinate the implementation of HR-led leadership development programmes under the Leadership Pipeline Curriculum, ensuring quality execution and strong participation.
Track and validate completion of required programmes and support the strengthening of people leadership capability across the organisation.
3. Learning and Engagement Initiatives
Oversee the delivery of CBWMO learning programmes such as Knowledge Nibbles, including content curation, stakeholder alignment and coordination with HR Learning and Development and Business HR.
Curate and organise learning and engagement platforms, including “Be My Guest” sessions, to encourage knowledge sharing, leadership visibility and regional connectivity.
Support and promote employee engagement initiatives across CBWMO units to strengthen participation, belonging and a positive learning culture.
Drive awareness of and participation in Group Operations and Group CBWMO programmes and events.
4. Talent Development
Support the development and engagement of Management Associates and High Potential employees through structured touchpoints, guidance and meaningful development opportunities.
Partner with stakeholders to curate development experiences such as “A Day in the Life Of” programmes, broadening organisational exposure and strengthening talent growth.
Collaborate with HR to facilitate participation in learning journeys and leadership or talent programmes that build future-ready capabilities.
5. Strategic Engagement and Organisational Reach
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Group Operations Communications, to plan and align engagement initiatives across CBWMO locations, strengthening employee connection and participation.
6. Employee Listening and Improvement
Lead employee survey briefings and integrate insights across units to support meaningful action planning.
Conduct analysis of survey outcomes and drive follow-through on priority focus areas to improve engagement, learning culture and organisational effectiveness.
Requirements
Min 8 years of relevant experience in Banking/ Finance Industry
Demonstrated experience in a strategic, programme management, people development or COO Office role, preferably within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
Good understanding of workforce transformation, learning and development, talent management and employee engagement practices.
Experience in driving or supporting change initiatives involving learning adoption, capability building or organisational development across multiple stakeholders.
Exposure to AI-related learning, digital capability building or responsible adoption of emerging technologies would be an advantage.
