PMO / Project manager (Banking)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented PMO Coordinator / Project Manager with experience in the financial services domain. The role focuses on strengthening project governance, financial tracking, and cross-functional communication, especially within banking transformation and technology initiatives aligned with regulatory compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting & Analytics

  • Analyze project data to generate actionable insights
  • Prepare status reports, dashboards, and executive-level summaries
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting across stakeholders

2. Governance & Compliance

  • Support adherence to enterprise governance frameworks and toll-gate processes
  • Assist in ensuring audit readiness and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain project documentation aligned with internal standards

3. Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate meetings with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and documentation
  • Capture minutes of meetings, track action items, and follow up on deliverables

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience in project management or PMO coordination, preferably within banking or financial services IT environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with risk management, IT operations, and regulatory frameworks in financial services
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysisHands-on experience with tools such as Jira, MS SharePoint, Confluence, or similar PPM tools
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essentialAbility to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in banking transformation or large-scale regulatory programs preferred
