SENIOR BUYER - MNC, PERMANENT ROLE

To conduct supplier quoting and negotiation, budget and margin targets. Strategic development of supplier and transition of products from engineering to production, project management and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and requisitions while maintaining accurate invoice tracking and receipts to ensure accuracy
• Ensure material availability throughout the supply chain to support uninterrupted production
• Manage the transition of parts from development to production by reviewing ERP demands and coordinating with master scheduling and sales teams
• Analyze complex assignments and recommend new procedures to improve procurement and supply chain processes
• Develop and execute supplier performance metrics to monitor and enhance supplier reliability and quality

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor degree with relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Ability to write complex service and operating procedures for clear communication and compliance
• Skill in reviewing technical documentation to ensure accuracy and applicability
• Knowledge of ERP systems, specifically SAP, to manage procurement and inventory data
