Job Summary

EDSCEND INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is looking for an Education Consultant cum Business Development Executive to support the company’s education consultancy services and education-related development.

The role involves advising students and parents on suitable education pathways, supporting admissions applications, coordinating with partner schools and institutions, and assisting the company in developing education partnerships in Singapore, China and Southeast Asia.

This position is suitable for someone who is bilingual, client-facing, organised, and comfortable handling both families and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student & Parent Consultation

Handle enquiries from students and parents through WhatsApp, WeChat, phone calls, email and face-to-face meetings.

Understand each student’s academic background, family expectations, budget, preferred location and long-term education goals.

Recommend suitable schools, programmes, enrichment courses, university pathways or overseas study options.

Explain admission requirements, school fees, application procedures, timelines and required documents clearly.

2. Admissions & Application Support

Assist students and families with application forms, document collection, submission and follow-up.

Coordinate with schools, universities, training providers and other education partners.

Arrange interviews, placement tests, school visits and parent meetings when required.

Track application status and update parents or students regularly.

Maintain proper student records and document filing.

3. Partnership Development

Support the company in developing education-related joint venture opportunities.

Assist in identifying potential partners such as schools, training centres, education groups, overseas institutions and referral channels.

Prepare company introductions, partnership proposals, presentation decks and meeting notes.

Coordinate meetings with business partners and follow up on partnership discussions.

Maintain good relationships with existing and potential education partners.

4. Sales & Client Follow-up

Follow up with potential clients and convert enquiries into successful enrolments.

Maintain a clear enquiry and sales pipeline.

Support the company in achieving enrolment, revenue or partnership targets.

Build long-term relationships with families to encourage repeat business and referrals.

5. Marketing & Events Support

Assist in organising education talks, parent seminars, webinars, school visits and recruitment events.

Support WeChat articles, Xiaohongshu content, brochures, flyers and other marketing materials.

Help with event registration, guest reception, photo-taking and post-event follow-up.

Collect market feedback from students, parents and partners.

6. Administration & Reporting

Maintain enquiry records, student lists, partner databases and application trackers.

Prepare weekly updates on leads, applications, enrolments and partnership progress.

Coordinate with finance and admin teams on invoices, receipts, agreements and payment follow-up.

Support other operational tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

Min Degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications or related fields preferred.

Prior experience in education consultancy, admissions, sales, business development, customer service or client management is an advantage.

Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin to communicate with English-speaking and Chinese-speaking clients.

Good interpersonal, communication and follow-up skills.

Able to speak confidently with parents, students, school representatives and business partners.

Organised, responsible and able to manage multiple enquiries at the same time.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, WhatsApp, WeChat and basic CRM or tracking systems.

Sales-driven, service-oriented and professional.
