Officer, Trade Control

The Trade Control Officer will support product and trade control responsibilities by managing trading data, ensuring accurate profit and loss reporting, and contributing to risk position monitoring. This role emphasizes operational efficiency and strong internal control processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify trade confirmations, recaps, and contracts for physical and derivative trades, ensuring accuracy and consistency in trading data management.

• Prepare profit and loss reports and perform analysis to validate results and generate informative reports for stakeholders.

• Conduct routine monitoring and reporting of market and credit risk exposures, supporting departmental decision-making.

• Coordinate administrative tasks and updates related to trade control activities for effective business operations.

• Provide market analysis and respond to ad hoc requests to facilitate the smooth functioning of the division.

• Drive process standardization and automation initiatives using CTRM systems to enhance efficiency and control.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in product control, finance, operations, or a related commercial environment.

• Basic knowledge of trading data management, profit and loss reporting, and risk monitoring.

• Familiarity with futures markets, including hedging and position management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and willing to learn new systems as needed.

• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and effective communication skills.
