BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Expansion

  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential locations for expansion.
  • Assist in evaluating potential takeover opportunities, franchise models, and collaboration projects.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends in wellness, massage, and beauty industries.

2. Operations & Project Coordination

  • Support the setup of new outlets including licensing (Police ME Licence, NEA, HDB), ACRA registration, and CorpPass onboarding.
  • Coordinate with landlords, contractors, and vendors for renovations, equipment setup, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with CaseTrust requirements and other regulatory standards.

3. Client & Partner Management

  • Assist business owners and clients in end-to-end setup of massage and reflexology establishments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Provide operational guidance and service menu development support to clients.

4. Marketing & Sales Support

  • Work with the team to plan promotional activities, digital marketing content, and service campaigns.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and business pitches for potential partners.
  • Track sales performance, customer trends, and revenue opportunities across all outlets.

5. Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies, and cost projections.
  • Maintain documentation for licensing, compliance, and manpower planning.
  • Provide weekly progress reports to management on projects and business leads.
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, operations, or project coordination (experience in wellness/massage/beauty industry is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Ability to travel between outlets for meetings and site inspections.
