Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary

Design and develop interior projects from concept through detailed design, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time. Prepare presentations and documentation while supporting junior designers and attending site meetings.

Responsibilities

• Design interior projects from initial concept through detailed design to fulfill client requirements and project goals
• Prepare and deliver clear design presentations to communicate proposals effectively to clients
• Select materials, finishes, and furniture to enhance design aesthetics and functionality in alignment with project objectives
• Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery
• Attend site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve design-related issues promptly
• Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, and design documentation to support project development and decision-making
• Manage project timelines and quality standards to ensure successful delivery within agreed parameters
• Mentor junior designers by providing guidance and support to develop their design skills and professional growth
• Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned to support project and team needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop
• Creativity and strong knowledge of detailed drawings

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in interior design or related fields
