Overview of the role

This is not a “run-the-playbook” media role. APAC consumers are drowning in content, channels are fragmenting daily, and the rules of brand building are being rewritten by AI. As Media Director APAC, you’ll be the architect of P&G’s answer. You set the vision for how 50+ brands across 10+ markets cut through clutter and grow. Your canvas: Media, Research, Marketing Science, and AI. Your goal: make every dollar smarter, every insight faster, and every brand stronger. You won’t just optimize plans — you’ll redefine how we build brands in APAC. From establishing the region’s gold standard for research, to scaling AI tools that turn data into growth, to proving what actually drives ROI. Your team

You’ll lead a high-caliber, regional team of media strategists, data scientists, and insights experts. They’re based across key APAC markets — and they look to you for clarity, ambition, and air cover to do their best work.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Media & Communication- The New Model needed to win today’s clutter heavy and fragmented media landscape

  • Raise the bar on Research Quality by establishing central standards & best practices

  • Bringing Marketing Science Approach to Brand Building

  • Leveraging AI to Enable Superior Analysis + Brand Building

Role Requirements

  • A college degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s is fine, preferably with some business focus)

  • 6-8 years of prior media experience in FMCG sector

  • Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and courageous leadership skills

  • Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking

  • An ability to drive innovation and brand growth

  • Strong ability to communicate and team capabilities
