As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operational strategy, optimize business performance, and drive sustainable growth.

Job Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) oversees day-to-day operations across logistics, warehousing, transportation, industrial services, and operational support functions to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all operational functions including logistics, warehousing, transportation, procurement, and industrial operations to ensure seamless daily business activities
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and market demands
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes and managing performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency
  • Manage profit and loss (P&L) performance, budgeting, cost control, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs) to sustain financial health
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and lawful workplace
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Strengthen customer relationships by delivering consistent service quality and ensuring operational reliability
  • Identify and implement opportunities for digital transformation, automation, and technology adoption to modernize operations
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team on strategic planning, business expansion, and development initiatives
  • Manage operational risks and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity under various scenarios

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, industrial operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management
  • Proven track record managing large-scale operations and multi-site teams
  • Strong financial acumen demonstrated by managing operational budgets and profitability
  • Experience leading process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence programs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience implementing ERP, WMS, TMS, or other operational technology platforms is highly desirable
