Corporate Actions & Settlement Operations Executive (JT) (Bank)

The Corporate Action Team within Bank Operations is central to managing corporate entitlement processing for both Bank SG and Banking businesses.

This role is critical in facilitating seamless financial operations and requires meticulous attention to detail and strong operational execution.

Specific responsibilities include

1. Payment & Settlement Expertise

I. Execute comprehensive post-trade and cash settlement processes within back-office systems, including preprocessing payments to investment banks, brokers, and customers, as well as payments related to FX/MM deals.

II. Prepare next-day payments efficiently in AMH.

III. Process FX, MM, and CBG SMF transactions accurately.

IV. Support outward payments (trade settlement) to brokers/counterparties and manage fund transfers between house and trust accounts maintained with various nostro banks.

2. Fund Management & Reconciliation:

V. Assist with the processing of Corporate Action events in the Vickers Operations team, as well as other ad hoc operations and processing tasks.

VI. Translating Corporate Action events details into our system. E.g. Our agent inform us of a dividend payment for next month, the person will need to interpret that this is a dividend event and input the required data into our system.

VII. Ad hoc operations and processing tasks includes assisting in doing reconciling data, investigate discrepancies, etc.

VIII. Answering queries from client and liaise with custodian for resolution of outstanding issues.
