Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Murex Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end design and integration of our Murex (MX.3) platform with core banking, enterprise systems, and market infrastructure. In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between complex treasury/capital markets business requirements and enterprise-grade technical solutions, ensuring scalability, flawless risk integration, and robust performance.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Murex Alignment
- Translate complex Front Office (FO), Middle Office (MO), and Back Office (BO) capital markets requirements into scalable Murex technical and functional solution designs.
- Author comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and end-to-end solution blueprints.
Integration & Data Architecture
- Design secure, high-performance APIs, messaging interfaces (MQ, ESB), and streaming data pipelines connecting Murex to core banking, payment gateways, and market systems.
- Define system-wide data architecture, including complex trade lifecycle mapping, data transformation rules, and real-time reconciliation frameworks.
Risk, Accounting & Regulatory Alignment
Align the Murex platform with enterprise risk management frameworks (Market Risk, Credit Risk, VaR) and accounting systems (General Ledger, accounting flows, IFRS compliance).
Lifecycle, Testing & Delivery Governance
- Migration & Cutover: Oversee the migration strategy for trade and static data from legacy systems. Lead technical cutover planning and provide architectural oversight during critical hypercare phases.
- Performance & Testing: Architect systems for extreme resilience and performance. Define the overarching strategy for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and stress/performance testing.
- Governance: Act as the primary technical authority on the Architecture Review Board, documenting key design decisions, maintaining the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and securing stakeholder alignment.
Required Deliverables
As a core leader of the transformation program, you will own the delivery of:
