Procurement Assistant / Executive

Job Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities in accordance with the Company's Procurement Policies and Procedures, including purchase order (PO) issuance and invoice matching.
  • Source quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value, delivery schedule, and payment terms.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
  • Support RFQ enquiries from the project and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with new vendor registration and annual vendor evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience Required

  • Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Good understanding of construction materials, material costing, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Strong analytical, planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Good coordination and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and suppliers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A team player with integrity, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
