Procurement Assistant / Executive

Job Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end procurement activities in accordance with the Company's Procurement Policies and Procedures, including purchase order (PO) issuance and invoice matching.
- Source quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value, delivery schedule, and payment terms.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Support RFQ enquiries from the project and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with new vendor registration and annual vendor evaluations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications / Experience Required
- Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Good understanding of construction materials, material costing, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Strong analytical, planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and suppliers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- A team player with integrity, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
