Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing MNC)

Our client is a Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Packaging Manufacturing sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to be part of their Maintenance team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

The Duties of Maintenance Engineer are:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth machine operations and minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine inspections, and maintain maintenance records.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement improvement actions to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams, suppliers, OEMs, and external contractors.
• Manage spare parts inventory, support procurement activities, and maintain maintenance costs within budget.
• Participate in machine installation, commissioning, upgrades, automation, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support plant facilities, utilities, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance activities.
• Maintain equipment documentation, SOPs, calibration records, and support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in standby duties and attend to breakdowns when required.

Requirement

• 3 - 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing industry
• Diploma / Degree in engineering field
• Experience in troubleshooting and CAPA
